Someone shared this quote on Facebook & I had to put it on my blog. For as long as I could remember, everything taught to me was about looking on the outside, not the inside. Everything else outside of you was more important than what was on the inside was the message I received. We surround ourselves with noise, people, and useless things just so we can't be alone with ourselves. I'm learning now that being alone with myself is the best gift I can give myself. I'm learning more about what I want & what I don't want, who I want to be around & who I don't want to be around, what I will accept & what I won't accept.  As the quote says, I'm finally awakening.

"Vision"

Vision: n., v. - the power of seeing; sense of sight; the power of perceiving by imagination or by clear thinking; something seen in the imagination, in a dream, in one's thought, or the like

 Many people talk about doing things but have no plans or vision on where to begin. How can you get from point A to point B without a plan? How can you get to your destination without a vision? Do you have a vision for yourself, your future, your family, your business, your relationships? Every successful person had a vision before they acquired success. What will be the vision for your future? Ignite the power of your vision. When that vision is perceived by your imagination, write it down & run with it.

Every new year people resolve to make changes to their lives - to lose weight, to increase finances, to leave "dead" relationships, to eliminate drama from their lives, etc. Where do these changes come from? Do we say we want change because everyone else is doing it or because it sounds good coming out of our mouths? True change takes place on the inside - in our minds and in our hearts. The only lasting change that takes place first has to take place from within. Go within to see what changes you have to make & make those changes based upon yourself & no one else."

As this new year has emerged, what have you been enlightened about? Enlightenment comes in various forms to different people-enlightenment about a job, relationship or marriage, friendship, or even family members. Enlightenment may also come regarding purpose or destiny. Whatever enlightenment means to you, find it, embrace, & live it to the fullest!
